Negotiator's Agenda
WEEKLY SESSION DATES
Nov 28 - Dec 4: All members will be having a meeting during the week with Major Dia Darkwing Stryfe. There will be an inquiry into each one, questions asked, and learning of past experiences. This will also count for storyline exp. This will also give us a chance to get to know one another.
Dec 5 - 11: Welcome and now for the first of several many tasks to help you all grow within this division. This is the first of many tasks for everyone to learn. I would like for you to go out of your way and introduce yourself to everyone in the guild. There's nothing worse then working with people and not knowing a thing about them. The second part will be to share some information with them, while trying to get them to share some in return. It will take patience, and that is something not everyone is born with but can be taught.
Dec 12 - 18 :Week long training for everyone, behind the scenes of the Negotiator's. This is informational, letting you know what will be, and is expected so there is no questions later. I find the need for laying the out the ground rules first, before going into depth on the training, to avoid any problems that may arise.
Dec 19 - 25 : What is the meaning of negotiating? How can you use it? Is there a right or wrong way? How do you develop the ability to become a smooth talker? These questions and many more will be our focus within the week. There will be a game, to answer any and all of these questions, to also inform all members of what is the most powerful thing : Knowledge. When used correctly, it can be a strong powerhouse.
Dec 26 - Jan 1: The paperwork of negotiating, properly filled, what to write down, and what not to. Things to remember, and key notes to write. This week we'll be looking into the paperwork aspect of it. Marriages, treaties, DoW's, divorces, mediations, and litigations.
Jan 2 - 8 : Now that we've been cracking at the basics, it is time to move on. Now to put everyone into their own groups, and show just what it takes to make your job important, while keeping up with your expectations and prior obligations.
Jan 9 - 15 : This week's focus is the best of mind's. How to get information from the person without he/she knowing it. Yet remaining as smooth, and confident without letting your emotions rule your negotiating skills. This will be the toughest to overcome, as you will be expected to be unbiased in the whole situations that'll be presented.
Monthly Outlook - What to expect
November : This is to take the opportunity to go ahead and get your spars in, and basic training. As we are soon going to be preparing a large amount of our time to help with negotiations that would benefit the guild. Keep in mind there will still be tasks assigned, and those goals must be met before more promotions will be given out.
December: With the holiday season's drawing near, this will be the month where we will be getting to learn every aspect of what it is to be a negotiator, the different duties that are maintained within our ranks, and just how useful words can be versus the use of force. Do not forget to log everything to turn it into our Keeper of Scrolls - devout hunt.
January: Our main focus for this month is learning how to tango with the best of minds. Not being caught up in the thrill of the ride, to where you lose what you were negotiating for. This is a complete exercise for your brain. Then your tongue will be tested, as some of the most brilliant minds will try to keep information from you. Take what you've learned and apply it.
